In March, Fraser Valley real estate hit historical highs, setting the record "Sales Processed" levels since the 1921 inception of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB). It was an active month, and while frustrating for buyers who often ended up in bidding wars, my Sellers were able to exceed their expectations this month, some with multiple offers. Another record set was for the "Volume of New Listings," which we have already seen starting to balance the market somewhat.
I have observed a slow down in the level of buyer intensity, and although the market is still robust, there is some buyer fatigue out there. Prices have risen an unbelievable 29.2% year on year. The new listings list prices reflect this jump in the market, and we are yet to see how this all plays out. I love to help my clients sell Real Estate, and I look forward to helping you, your family or friends make life-changing home decisions.”
